Lace up those lumberjack boots because we are off to the races. The 5K (3.1 mile) course begins and ends at Jordan Valley Park. The scenic, urban trail will take you through downtown Springfield including a lap around the square. Watch out for bears along the route. Whether they are cheering you on or chasing you, they will be the motivation you need to have your fastest time yet.
Race results will be officially kept via chip timing. Awards will be given for top male and female finishers by age division along with overall and masters male and female winners. Each runner will receive a short sleeve shirt, beard, and goodie bag.
